Our school, Sister Nivedita Children’s Home was started on 4th January 1968 with a small number of students by Late Sailesh Kumar Biswas , who was professionaly lawyer and renowned social worker in this area then .The school runs under trustee board of Sri Ramakrishna Mahamandal Dakshineswar. This school was started with the lower middle class students and educated women teachers of the backward economy of the local area then .

The place where the school is located has a spiritual place of greatness. Students of all religions and financial status get chance to study here. Apart from celebrating special days like Republic Day , Saraswati Puja , Annual Sports Competition , Independence Day , Rabindra Jayanti , Children’s Day , Teacher’s Day etc. we conduct regular health check-up of students and health check-up of guardians as well. Drawing, Yoga , Singing, Dancing, Recitation and Handwriting competition also organised here to encourage the students. Our only goal is to teach the students various activities with a good academic course through modern scientific methods.
